Passenger demand is increasing every year in the thousand 213 kilometers high speed rail lines operated by TCDD General Directorate of Transport.
2009 million passengers have been transported so far on high-speed trains, which started in Ankara-Eskişehir in 2011, Ankara-Konya in 2013, Eskişehir-Konya in 2014, Ankara-Eskişehir-Istanbul and Konya-Istanbul in 44.3.
