Noting that the ILS system helps pilots in adverse conditions, especially in the winter months, Ocak said, “The Instrument Landing System, which was put into service after the Flight Control Tests conducted on October 17, 2018, will help the pilot to land the plane safely on the runway by guiding the plane horizontally and vertically. Thus, voyages due to bad weather will be minimized. Good luck to Sinop, who deserves the best of all kinds of services. ”
With the new system installed at Sinop Airport, the number of ILS reached 69 in the airports in DHMI.
