The tender for the Sapanca Cable Car Project, which is the first in Sakarya, was held. The project, which will bring a new momentum to the tourism of Sapanca, is planned to be completed in 18 months.
Tender Commission President Sapanca Deputy Mayor Özcan Yavuz said that the ropeway project is a project dating back to the times when Sapanca was a town and the people of the region had been dreaming of for 50 years.
DETAILS OF SAPANCA TELEFERIC PROJECT
Yavuz, who explained that the master plans of the project were made and official permits were received, said:
“Today, we held the last stage of the 25-year real estate rental and revenue sharing cable car tender. Sapanca Mayor Assoc. Dr. Aydın Yılmazer has spent a great time working on the cable car project since 2014, when he took office. We have come to the last stage with the tender we have done today. The boarding station of the cable car will be installed in the Parcel 360, Sapanca Kırkpınar Hasan Paşa Mahallesi. The remaining part of the parcel, which will be built on an area of approximately 660 m2, will be considered as green area. The green area will be built as a 2-storey car park. The landing station is located in Mahmudiye Mahallesi 14 acres promenade area of Incebel A around the sections 15 and 61. Those who take the first station will go to Mahmudiye with a one-way cable car line of approximately 450 m. ”
FIRST EXERCISE IN THE TELEFERIC LINE WILL BE OBJECTIVE BY THE CONTRACT
Yavuz stated that the cabins on the cable car line will be 8 people and that there will be about 36 cabins. With the build-operate-transfer model, all facilities will be transferred to Sapanca Municipality after 25 years ”.
The tender held at the Assembly Hall of the Municipality of Sapanca was awarded to Bursa Teleferik A.Ş. and Teleferik Holding A.Ş. business partnership.
