Rail Laying Works Accelerated in Ankara-Sivas YHT Project

Yozgat Governor Kemal Yurtnaç, Ankara-Sivas High-Speed ​​Train (YHT) project launched under the scope of the rail work continued uninterrupted.

Rail laying works are continuing rapidly in Ankara-Sivas YHT Project, which is one of the important axes of the railway corridor connecting Asia Minor and Asia countries on the Silk Road route.

When the project is completed, Ankara-Sivas YHT project will reduce the time between Sivas-Ankara to 2 hours and Ankara-Yozgat will be reduced to approximately an hour.

In his statement on the subject, Governor Kemal Yurtnaç said that the economic potential of Yozgat will come to the fore with the launch of the high-speed train that will serve between Ankara-Yozgat-Sivas.

Reminding the words of Halil Rıfat Paşa's “You can't go where you can't go”, Governor Yurtnaç said:
"We have to put forth alternatives of transport in Turkey today. We have to put forward not only land, but also rail, air and sea routes. The Ankara-Sivas YHT project, which is included in the 100-day action plan in the Presidential Government System and still under construction, passes through our city. Studies are continuing extremely fast. In the past months, a rail spreading ceremony was held with the participation of our ministers, and as of today, the work continues without interruption. ”

Governor Yurtnaç stated that Yozgat's thermal resources will become more usable due to the proximity of Ankara to the high speed train. These studies will bring social and economic mobility to the region. ” he spoke.
