At the invitation of Mr. Temel Uzlu, General Manager of Samsun Logistics Center, the director of Alaçam Vocational School Dr. Kürşat Demiryürek and lecturers visited the Logistics Center.
First of all, Uzlu gave detailed information about the center which will contribute greatly to Samsun economy. Afterwards, instructors of Alaçam Vocational School of Higher Education, Logistics, Maritime and Port Management, Postal Services and Call Center Services programs explained their fields of expertise and courses. In addition, Mr. Demiryürek, the director of the school, introduced our TÜBİTAK and DOKAP Entrepreneurship projects. Between the Center and the Vocational School on the subject of future training, promotion, research, internship and conference activities were discussed on cooperation.
Uzlu stated that they would like to organize an international symposium in the new education period and that they would like to cooperate with Alaçam Vocational School. He also said that he wanted students to visit the Logistics Center and to provide information exchange by visiting the Vocational School. In terms of industrial-university cooperation, this visit was emphasized both on behalf of the Vocational School and on behalf of the University.
