Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality not only facilitates transportation with alternative roads in the city, but also prevents traffic congestion. The new alternative roads created within this scope are of great importance throughout the city. One of these works is an alternative road that has been implemented between Arzılı and Umuttepe by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department. The road whose construction is completed extends to Kabaoğlu Quarter.
FROM DERİNCE TO UMUTTEPE
Those who come from Derince Region to go to Umuttepe Hospital and Kocaeli University Campus can use the new alternative road from Ağaköy - Arızlı - Umutepe route. With the completion of this alternative road, a transportation corridor was opened to the Umuttepe Region from the west.
6 THIN 900 TON ASPHALT
The Arızlı - Umuttepe alternative road, which will provide transportation from Derince and Kuruçeşme to Umuttepe KOÜ Hospital, has a length of 3 thousand meters and a width of 7 meters. As part of the study, 6 thousand 900 tons of asphalt was laid on the road section. The alternative road, whose traffic signs and lane lines were completed, was put into service.
