The confluence occurred in the overpass crossing Elphinstone Street and the train station in Mumbai, India. It was reported that the crowds crushed each other to ride on the train, while passengers trying to protect themselves from excessive rainfall wanted to leave at the same time through the passage.
At least one 22 was killed and at least 30 was injured. The wounded were taken to the hospital said.
