Logistics Support for New OIZs: The process of SMEs moving out of Istanbul with government incentives has come to an end. Speaking of the importance of continuing the logistics activities in the OIZs to be established without interruption, Batu International Logistics Chairman Taner Ankara stated that they will focus on their work in these regions.
The process of moving SMEs operating in Istanbul out of the city has reached its final point. In this context, the 3bin company is expected to be reduced to 50 with the incentives provided by the state.
This transformation is closely related to the logistics sector, which is one of the most important sectors in the increase of trade volume. The fact that the new OIZs established within the scope of the transformation are located far from the logistic centers means that the transport activities in these regions increase.
Batun International Logistics Chairman of the Board of Directors Taner Ankara, who expressed opinion on the new establishment will be inadequate transport activities in the OIZs, the importance of these regions in terms of logistics sector is quite large and should be increased investments in the region, he said.
Taner stated that they decided to increase their warehouse investments in Anatolia along with the production of the government, which encouraged the development of Anatolia.
