The metro project in Gaziantep has been approved: The metro project of the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many projects in the Gaziantep transportation master plan, has been approved.
Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Sahin, Deputy Secretary General Sezer Cihan and Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department Head Hasan Kömürcü with the Ministry of Transport and Communications General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM), the approval process starting with the visit has been completed.
As a result of the process, priority metro lines GAR-GAÜN-15 July campus and GAR-Düztepe-Hospital Lines were approved.
The tender process was started for the preparation of these two subway lines.
