The wagons of Kecioren Metro started to arrive: Metro cars produced in China to be used from Kecioren subway reached Ankara. The wagons arriving at the Macunköy metro warehouse will be transferred to the Keçiören subway, which will start serving at 2017 after the conversion works.
The wagons of Keçiören Metro, which will start to serve in January of 2017, started to come to Ankara. The wagons from China are delivered to the EGO General Directorate by the Ministry of Transport. The transformation of the wagons takes place at the Macunköy metro warehouse. In the first place the conversion of the metro cars from the 6 set was completed. The second set of 6 wagons was delivered the day before. The wagons that arrive in stages and complete their transformation will be transferred to Keçiören Metro.
THE MINISTRY EXPLAINED
The Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications announced that the 12 plans to launch the expected Keçiören subway line at 15-20 January 2017 at the latest. EGO also said that next week, the tourniquet, route signs, validator and technical team will start working on the subway.
