It has been reported that the wagons produced by TÜDEMSAŞ operating in the Sivas Organized Industrial Zone will be exported to Europe. Yıldıray Koçarslan, General Manager of Turkey Railway Machinery Industry Inc. (TÜDEMSAŞ), gave information about production to Sivas Governor Davut Gül by showing the facilities operating in the Organized Industrial Zone.
Governor Gul, told reporters, 4 company's 6 facility to visit said.
Emphasizing that Sivas is a center in the railway wagon industry, Gül said:
“This center has reached a certain point with its quality certificate and export. The fact that Sivas is a center in the railway wagon industry under the leadership of TÜDEMSAŞ is a benefit of Sivas. So Sivas is breaking its shell in this sense. Sivas will be one of the few centers that we talk about when it comes to the railway wagon industry wherever in the world, especially in Europe, with the exports we will make from now on. Also, the technology used in these facilities is domestic and national technology. This is a technology that shows both Turkey and fingers in the world. "
'It will start very soon'
Koçarslan also thanked those who contributed to the production. Nurettin Yıldırım, the general manager of the company that manufactures freight wagons, said that they are working to keep the economy alive and that they have accelerated their investments. Yıldırım said the following about wagon exports to Europe:
"Our goal is to have a say in the railcar industry in Turkey. To be able to make every piece produced locally and nationally as much as we can. Our work on exporting wagons to Europe continues, our certification process is over. We have projects that we are about to sign the agreements with. Exports will begin very soon. Hopefully, we will be able to say very soon that we are exporting wagons to Europe. ”
