DTD Board of Directors Visits UDHB Minister Ahmet Arslan

The DTD Board of Directors visited the Minister of State of the UDHB Ahmet Arslan: Members of the Board of Directors of the Association of Railway Transports (DTD) Board of Directors Özcan Salkaya, Vice-Presidents Recep Zühtü Soyak and Ali Ercan Güleç, General Secretary Ömer Faruk Bacanlı and DTD General Manager Yaşar Rota 11 August 2016 visited Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Mr. Ahmet Arslan on Thursday at 16.45.
Mr. Orhan Birdal, Deputy Undersecretary of the Minister attended the meeting.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DTD, Mr. Özcan Salkaya, started his speech by congratulating him on the appointment of the Minister and congratulations about the appointment of success. We have heard what we heard and get past.
DTD Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Özcan Salkaya, the only non-governmental organization in the railway sector, presented the current and probable problems and suggestions regarding the liberalization of railway transportation to the Minister and provided detailed explanations and exchange of views on the issues mentioned in the report.
Mr. Minister stated that the railway transportation to be liberalized will be at the level it deserves, and they will do all kinds of support for the public sector especially the private sector to be in the train operation.
During the discussion of the problems and recommendations, all the problems and suggestions about the rail transportation, together with the General Directorate of Railway Regulation, the General Directorate of Rail Regulation in the Ministry Coordination and the Rail Transport Association, which were presented as the proposal of the DTD, were discussed together and therefore a periodic meeting process his proposal for initiation was also accepted by the Minister.
He appointed Mr Orhan Birdal, Deputy Undersecretary of the LAGA, on the Coordination Meeting.
We would like to thank Mr. Ahmet Arslan, the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications for his time in the last days and the meeting in a very hot environment.
