Aliağa Korkutan Fire: The fire that broke out in the grassy area near İZBAN Biçerova station in İzmir's Aliağa district caused great panic.
According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason in Biçerova area at noon on the edge of the Çanakkale-İzmir highway. starting with the ignition of a fire in dry grass, grown in a short time in Biçerova Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Directorate of Logistics jumped to the field. The fire, which spread rapidly with the effect of the wind, approached the containers belonging to TCDD, located next to the grassland. Firefighters made great efforts to prevent the flames from splashing into the containers.
As a result of the work that lasted approximately 1 hours, the fire was extinguished and there was no loss of life. In the fire was about 10 hectares area ash.
