The Draft of TCDD Tasimacilik AS was submitted to YPK: The TCDD Tasimacilik AS Draft, which was created within the scope of the regulation that paved the way for liberalization in railways, was submitted to the High Planning Council (YPK). The company will be registered after the Articles of Association of TCDD Tasimacilik AS is accepted by YPK. The target date for the restructuring of TCDD and the liberalization of rail transport was set as June 21, 2016.
In order to create the legal and structural framework of the railway sector in accordance with the legislation of the European Union May 1, 2013 issued by the Railway Sector of Turkey as long as a new step was taken with the Law on the liberalization of rail transport.
