Deal With Hyundai Rotem For South Korea's Busan City Metro

Agreement with Hyundai Rotem for South Korea's Busan City Metro: A new subway train has been ordered to be used in the Busan Metro, South Korea's second largest city. According to the statement made by Hyundai Rotem on March 14, the company will produce 1 subway trains to be used in Busan Metro Line 40. The trains to be produced as a result of the agreement with a total cost of 52,8 billion won ($ 44 million) will be replaced by trains that are still in use since 1985.
The trains will be produced at the company's facilities in Changwon. There will be passenger information screens on trains that will have a standard rail opening. The delivery of trains will start next year.
