Siemens Desiro City Trains Will Be Taken to England: A new train purchase agreement has been drafted by Govia Thameslink Railway in England. As a result of the agreement, a 200 million contract was signed. According to the signed contract, Siemens will produce 25 700 class electric trains for the Govia Thameslink Railway.
The trains to be produced with dual voltage and 6 cars will be similar to Siemens' Desiro City train family. The trains to be produced will be replaced by trains that have been used since 1976. Trains to be used between London, Welwyn, Hertford, Stevenage and Letchworth.
