Tests in Montreal Metro started in Canada

Montreal Metro Test Runs Started in Canada: In Canada, Montreal Metro Operator STM started test drives of Azur trains jointly produced by Alstom and Bombardier companies. It is estimated that the tests of the trains will take about two months.
An agreement was signed between STM and Alstom and Bombardier in October of 2010. According to the agreement, it was decided by Alstom and Bombardier to produce 52 9 wagon tire Azur trains for use in the Montreal subway. The trains were delivered at certain times.
Bombardier undertook the design and engineering of the trains produced, while Alstom undertook the task of producing automatic train control systems, communication and passenger information screens. The delivery of all trains is planned to be done by the end of 2018.
