Halic tram project accelerates

Haliç tram project is accelerating: EIA process has started for the tram line to be built along the Golden Horn coast. The 13-kilometer line will carry 10 passengers per hour. There will be a bicycle path next to the line that will extend to Alibeyköy Bus Station.

Studies are accelerating for the new tram line to be built in Istanbul's tourism and history center, Historical Peninsula and Golden Horn. The EIA process of the tram line, whose project studies have been completed, started. Starting from Eminönü Square, the route, which will carry 10 people per hour, will pass through Küçükpazar, Cibali, Fener, Balat, Ayvansaray, Feshane, Eyüp Sultan, Silahtarağa stops. Trees will be planted between the two directions, even with the green tram road concept, which aims to reduce the traffic of the historical peninsula and its surroundings. There will also be a cycle path right next to the tram line. The tram line, which will serve as an integrated rail system in Istanbul, will be put into service until 500.

TO RISE TO ISTINYE
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is also bidding on the Istinye- ITU- Kagithane Rail System Project. Sarıyer, Ayazağa İTÜ-İstinye Rail System Project, the metro line from Yenikapı to Maslak will be connected to İstinye from İTÜ Ayazağa Station. Starting from Seyrantepe, the 8-kilometer-long metro line project will pass through Ayazağa and land in Istinye after İTÜ, İstinye Park AVM and İMKB.
