Balıkesir Çamlık Hill will be reached by cable car: Mayor Ahmet Edip Uğur, who stated that there will be a cable car from Çay Creek to Çamlık Tepe, said, “There will be a 2 meter cable car line. We will make a 500-meter-high Hilal Minaret Mosque, which will be the symbol of Balıkesir, to Çamlık Tepe. The mosque will be buried on Çamlık Hill and will be shaped with an architecture that respects nature without disturbing the silhouette of the hill. It will be seen from all over Balıkesir. It will be seen at night or day and night.
We will build a Science Center with TÜBİTAK. We will build a Renewable Energy themed Science Center. We signed a protocol with TÜBİTAK. TUBITAK will do the building because we will do it. TÜBİTAK has allocated 20 million liras for this. In this science center, it will serve our youth regarding wind, solar energy, and energy to be obtained from biogas. ”
