In the US, Oklahoma, Czech Get New Trams from Inekon

Oklahoma in the USA Buys New Tramways from the Czech Inekon Company: In the USA, the Oklahoma City Council has signed a new $ 22 million deal. According to the agreement made with the Czech Inekon company on September 29, the company will produce 5 trams for use in Oklahoma City. According to the agreement, 8 more trams can be ordered according to the needs in the future.

The ordered trams are scheduled to be delivered in 2017 and 2018. Trams are expected to be in service in the middle of 2018. If the delivery of trams is delayed, the company will pay 1500 dollars for each day delay. Trams will be produced in Inekon factory in Czech Republic.

Trains to be built for urban transportation in Oklahoma will move along with city traffic. The Inekon company is currently working on the design of trams for Washington and Seattle.
