TÜDEMSAŞ Museum Sheds Light on Railway History

In keeping with the Light Railway History Museum TÜDEMSAŞ: Founded in the early years of the Republic 1939 Turkey Railway Machines Industry Inc. The TÜDEMSAŞ Museum located in the (TÜDEMSAŞ) factory sheds light on the history of the railway.

The TÜDEMSAŞ Museum, which sheds light on the history of the railway, contains about 3 materials, including old locomotives, Ottoman-era railway plates, wagon parts and parts produced since its establishment. The museum also includes the model of the domestic and steam locomotive Bozkurt built in 1961 and the cylinder engine of the Revolution car. Citizens coming to the museum from abroad and abroad show great interest.

Providing information about the museum, TÜDEMSAŞ Deputy General Manager Ahmet İzzet Göze said, “About 30 years ago, there was a museum in this factory. We have recently focused on this museum. We collected the materials. There are materials used in the factory over 3 thousand, both domestic and foreign. We exhibit all of them in the museum. We have guests from abroad, who hear the museum from Australia, Germany and America. When they come, we show them around. We make sure that they open the museum and see it when there are demands domestically. ”

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE REVOLUTION VEHICLES ARE IN THE MUSEUM

Giving information about the materials in the museum, Göze said, “There are steam locomotive parts. There is a model of the steamy Bozkurt made in our factory. We keep it running. We organized a section like the factory's administrative room. There are photos of those working in the factory since its establishment. There are pieces that others have gifted to our museum. ”
