China Tests Fast Trains

China is Testing High Speed ​​Trains: Test drives of newly produced high speed trains in China continue. The tests will continue on the Yuanping-Taiyvan line after continuing until the end of August, and then it will be tested on the Datong-Xi'an line and will be completed by the end of this year.

The high-speed trains produced stand out with their length of 209 m, width of 3,36 m, height of 4,06 m and weight of 17 tons. The trains, which can reach a speed of 350 km per hour, have a total passenger capacity of 10, 28 of which are first class and 556 are second class.

The trains developed by the Chinese Academy of Railroad Sciences (CARS) started in 2012 and continued until 2014. Besides CARS, CRRC has also been active in the design of trains.

Trains are produced in gold and blue. The gold-colored trains are produced by Changchun Railway Vehicles and the blue ones by Qingdao Sifang.
