TOF Secretary General Ertürk: – “As the road transport sector, we have a shortage of trained personnel and drivers. Drivers do not grow up with the master-apprentice relationship anymore”. Nusret Ertürk, Secretary General of the All Bus Drivers Federation (TOF), stated that they had a shortage of trained personnel and drivers in road transport, and that drivers could not be trained due to the master-apprentice relationship. Ertürk told reporters that the road transport sector has shrunk in terms of both the number of businesses and the number of vehicles.

Noting that bus transportation will still exist, Ertürk said, “It will never lose its functions. integrated transport models will be developed in Turkey. Transportation models for taking citizens from the airport and the high-speed train station to the surrounding provinces and districts will develop. Coaching and passenger transport never ends. We will shrink as a sector, but better quality and more qualified service will be provided ”.

Stating that technological developments and innovations should be followed, Ertürk said, “Exemplary people who speak at least one language, with their attitudes and behaviors, can be excellent drivers for us. Experience, appearance, clothing, these are very important. The door of our industry is open to everyone who can achieve these and improve themselves. We would be pleased to employ these people ”.
