Tractor manufacturer TÜMOSAN has signed a 190 million euro contract with the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM) within the scope of the Power Group Development Project. The contract provides for the development of the engine and powertrain of the Altai battle tank. TUMOSAN Chairman Nuri Albayrak announced that it is planned to produce 30 tank engines and transmissions in the first year. The power group project contract envisages the development of the Altay combat tank's engine and powertrain within 54 months. Nuri Albayrak said, “We will develop and manufacture the engine and we will start mass production after five years. It is planned to produce 30 tank engines and transmissions in the first year. In the second year, we will continue production according to the need. ”
TRAIN TO SAUDI ARABIA
