Russian billionaire Arkadiy Rotenberg, who owns Stroygazmontage, said the Russian Ministry of Transport has examined more than 70 offers. Speaking about the price of the bridge construction, Rotenberg stated that the price is currently 228 billion rubles ($ 3,3 billion).
The Stroygazmontaj company is still debating the construction of natural gas lines and the lack of experience in bridge construction. Arkadiy Rotenberg, one of the richest men in Russia, is known for his closeness to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
