Giant railway project uniting the continents from Russia: Russian Railways President Yakunin announced a huge project that will connect the USA to Europe through Asia.

According to The Independent, the Russians are planning to extend the route from Europe to the US through all of Russia and extend to the Bering Strait. The Bering Strait will have to be bridged to the state of Alaska.
