Traffic Safety meeting was held in Istanbul: The first meeting of the Road Traffic Safety Provincial Coordination Board in 2015 was held in the Istanbul Governorship Building.
The first meeting of the Road Traffic Safety Provincial Coordination Board in 2015 was held in Istanbul Governorship Building. It was learned that the meeting will be held every 3 months.
The meeting was held under the presidency of Istanbul Governor Vasip Şahin; Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Topbaş, Rector of Bahçeşehir University. Dr. Mustafa Ilıcalı, Deputy Governor Aziz Mercan and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Staff Colonel Gürcan Sercan, President of Honorary Traffic Inspectors Association Attorney Sami Güleçyüz and other NGO representatives and representatives of related institutions attended the event.
In the coordination board meeting which was established within the scope of Güven Road Traffic Safety Strategy and Action Plan ı which came into force with the Prime Ministry Circular in 2012; Istanbul traffic problems, applications related to heavy tonnage vehicles, TEM and D100 highway, mainly on the main and intermediate arteries in case of traffic disruptions to be taken against the situation, the parking problem was raised.
At the meeting which was about 3 hour, the agenda items were evaluated and decisions were taken within the framework of the opinions.
