The new Galata Bridge will be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic between 24-01.30 hours on Tuesday in March due to maintenance work.
According to the statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the new Galata Bridge will be opened to sea traffic by lubricating the support, beams and locks of the scales.
For this reason, those who will use the bridge that will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between 24 and 01.30 on March 04.30 were recommended to head to Atatürk Bridge.
New Galata Bridge and Atatürk Bridge will be open to sea traffic between 03.30 and 04.30 hours as required by UKOME decision, and vehicle and pedestrian traffic should be done over Golden Horn Bridge.
