45 people trapped in the chair lift were rescued: At Yıldıztepe Ski Center, 45 vacationers who were stranded due to the breakdown of the chair lift were rescued with approximately 2,5 hours of work.
According to information received, the chairlift of about one thousand 600 meters, malfunctioned while carrying a group of 45 people.
Çankırı National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE), Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency (AFAD), fire brigade and gendarmerie officers started rescue work.
The teams lowered these people from the chairlift after approximately 10 hours of work.
It was learned that holidaymakers were in good health.
Ali Dinar in the group, told reporters, like everyone else is afraid of itself, he said.
Stating that the cold weather increased its effect in the afternoon, Dinar said, “We were very cold. It was quite difficult for us. "We are happy to land in a healthy way," he said.
