Izmir Metro is Growing Day by Day: In order to strengthen the Metro system of Izmir, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality was launched to purchase the 85 wagon. The Metropolitan Municipality has already ordered the 10 new wagon and is preparing to receive it in the coming weeks.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has taken action in order to further improve the number of lines and passengers, has made a tender for the purchase of a total of 85 wagons (17 train sets, 5 wagons). The tender was open to national and international investors and the two companies submitted a tender. After signing the contract, all trains will be delivered in 26 months.

On the other hand, the 10 train set consisting of 2 wagons, which was ordered by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the metro system and completed in the factory in China, also departed. 10 new wagons and new train sets with 85 wagons will be doubled and will reach 172 in the next days. 350 bin is currently being transported in İzmir Metro and 280 thousand passengers are transported in İZBAN. This figure corresponds to the 34 of the total number of passengers in public transport.
