Bursa YHT line studies

Work on the Bursa YHT line: AK Party Bursa Provincial Chairman Torun: "Due to the soft soil structure of the Yenişehir-Vezirhan-Bilecik line, depending on the decision to be made as a result of geological and technical studies, there may be partial shifts in connection points."

Cemalettin Torun, AK Party Bursa Provincial Chairman, said about the works on the Bursa High Speed Train (YHT) line, "In the Yenişehir-Vezirhan-Bilecik line, depending on the decision to be made as a result of geological and technical studies, due to the soft soil structure, there may be partial shifts in the connection points."

Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Torun stated that the Bursa YHT project is extremely important for the city and said that the residents of Bursa want to have YHT as soon as possible.

Stating that no problems and changes have been observed in the 105-kilometer section between Bursa-Yenişehir of the 75-kilometer project, which will be connected to the Ankara-Istanbul line from Bilecik, Torun stated that there are partial problems in the 30-kilometer Yenişehir-Vezirhan-Bilecik part due to the soft soil structure. Grandson noted the following:

“Due to the soft soil structure on the Yenişehir-Vezirhan-Bilecik line, depending on the decision to be made as a result of geological and technical studies, there may be partial shifts in the connection points. As a result of this shift, the existing line may approach İnegöl, but this is a situation that may occur entirely as a result of the technical studies of the ministry officials. It is important for us to ensure that the high-speed train comes to Bursa from Ankara. "
