Konaklı Ski Center's Way is Afforested

The Road of Konaklı Ski Center was Afforested: The road of Konaklı Ski Center, which was put into service with the Winter Universities Winter Games held in Erzurum in 2011, was afforested by the Forest Regional Directorate.

17 kilometers away in the city center, one of Turkey's new Palandöken ski on the mountain road leading around Konakli pine, black wood, willow and cluster thousand 300 saplings were planted, including acacia. Stating that those who go skiing can see green and white together, Forest Regional Manager Muhammet Salih Çetiner said:

“Governor Ahmet Altıparmak asked us to do afforestation in the Konaklı area at the coordination meeting. We planted a variety of 300 trees in our own facilities. Those who go skiing due to the trees about 2 meters tall, which are planted on both sides of the Konaklı ski center, will pass through this green-covered road. Erzurum is a city where winter sports and winter games are held. The city is covered in snow and white in winter. The trees will provide a revel of color in that region. My only request from the peasants living in the area is to protect the planted trees. Let them take care of those seedlings.
