Henry Ford's name will not be given to the bridge

Henry Ford's name will not be given to the bridge: The decision to change the name of a bridge in Florida to the Henry Ford Bridge opposed the region's Jews due to Ford's past anti-Semitic publications.
In the 1920, Henry Ford's name was given to a bridge in Florida when he published his conspiracy theories about Jews in his Dearborn Independent newspaper, but later apologized for his anti-Semitic publications.
However, Fort Myers city officials in the state of Florida withdrew the offer of the name of Ford to a bridge after some residents expressed their discomfort from the aforementioned publications. Thus, the planned vote for the last week was canceled.
U We all know that Ford has a dark past when it comes to Jews, hepimiz said Alan Isaacs, president of the city's Jewish community. Although the state of Florida has decided to change the name of the Caloosahatchee Bridge as the Henry Ford Bridge, the change is still pending approval of the local government. In his interview with the TV channel WZVN, state representative Matt Cadwell, who suggested change of name, pointed out that his view of the name change was positive and should be reconsidered, while he drew attention to the objection of the Jewish community.
