Çorluda Asphalt Works Continues at Samanyolu and Akay Streets

Çorluda Asphalt Works Continues in the Samanyolu and Akay Streets: Çorlu Municipality Directorate of Science Affairs has started the asphalt work on the streets of Çobançeşme Quarter Samanyolu and Akay, on the minibus route of 5.
As a result of the work initiated by the teams of the Directorate of Science Affairs, the foundation layer on the Samanyolu and Akay streets was formed by filling with ballast material and sub-base tuvanen material with work machines. After the compaction process was applied with rollers on the surface of the roads, high quality asphalt produced in the fully automated plant located in Çorlu Municipality Site and passed through laboratory tests, started to be laid with a paver machine. Approximately 760 tons of asphalt paving is expected on the route, which has a total length of 1.600 meters.
It is aimed to complete the asphalt works on this road, which gradually becomes operational with the opening of Cumhuriyet Park, the construction of Bülent Ecevit Boulevard and its inclusion in the number 5 minibus route.
Following the asphalt works on site, Deputy Mayor of Çorlu Ahmet Sarıkurt stated that road construction and asphalting works will continue without interruption in line with the 2014 program of the Directorate of Science.
