This road will have six wagon car parks: Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will establish underground storage facilities in Halkapinar for the growing metro system and expanding vehicle fleet. The 6 wagon can be parked in the parking area, which will consist of a total 110 line.
An automatic train washing system will be installed inside the facilities to allow the vehicles to be washed in a moving manner. For the maintenance and storage of the expanding fleet in İzmir Metro, Halkbank will establish underground facilities with capacity of 110 wagons in Halkapınar. The facilities will be constructed in front of Atatürk Stadium, starting from Şehitler Street and extending to Osman Ünlü Junction and Halkapınar metro warehouse area. In this scope, drilling studies and application project studies for the geological survey are continued in the region.
6 wagon will be stored in the parking area which will be constructed by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and will be composed of 110 lines. A ventilation fan with a jet fan will be created in order to ventilate the environment in the underground vehicle storage facility and to evacuate the smoke generated during a fire. Compressed air system will be installed to provide vehicle and part maintenance to the section where elevated lines will be provided for periodical maintenance. There will be an automatic train washing system in the facility to wash the vehicles. In the periodic maintenance unit, a mobile roof working platform that can move in parallel to the roofs of the vehicles will be formed on the rails. In accordance with the national fire regulations, the inside of the building will be equipped with a fire extinguishing system (wardrobe system), sprinkler system and fire brigade. 3 also provides the energy of trains with the signaling system that determines the position of trains in underground vehicle storage facility. The rail system will also be installed.
