The Mudanya-Gemlik coastline will be connected by train: The Metropolitan Municipality will undertake a project with State Railways in order to carry cargo and passenger transportation between Mudanya, Geçit and Gemlik very recently.
Preparing to add another one to the transportation services, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to implement the railway which will connect Gemlik, Mudanya and the Passage with the project to be carried out jointly with the State Railways. In addition, this line will be integrated with the high-speed train station at the Passage. Immediately thereafter, a wide railway network will be built by extending to Bursaray Passage.

Providing information about the project, Mayor Recep Altepe, “We have such a joint work with State Railways. It will be possible to transport both passenger and cargo between Mudanya-Gemlik and Mudanya-Gemlik. High speed train integration will be provided with the connection to the Passage. With the commencement of the freight transportation, the logistics problem of the factories operating in the industrial sites in the region will be solved. Yük
