Fog adjustment to Marmaray voyages: Due to heavy fog in Istanbul, the flights of City Lines and Istanbul Sea Buses Inc. (IDO) could not be made, directing passengers to Marmaray.
Due to the fog that was effective from night hours in Istanbul, City Lines ferry trips could be made for a short time in the morning hours. İDO's all domestic sea bus, Sirkeci-Harem car ferry, fast ferry and international sea bus services were canceled.
After the flights canceled due to heavy fog, the citizens who wanted to cross to the opposite side turned to Marmaray. With the addition of the Golden Horn Metro Bridge, the density experienced in Marmaray since Sunday, February 16, has increased even more due to fog. With the connection of Haliç Metro Bridge, the number of daily passengers increased by 20 thousand. 107 thousand passengers are expected to use Marmaray yesterday, which carried 120 thousand passengers yesterday.
