Kadir Topbaş, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, said, “Last week, we presented our Municipal Council with 4 new metro lines, 5 havaray, 4 cable cars and 100 thousand car parking plans. CHP voted against. We will serve Istanbul, they vote against. The decision passed from our parliament with the majority of votes, ”he said.
Topbaş, who visited the tradesmen on Fahri Korutürk Street in Bakırköy, distributed cloves to the citizens and gave information about the investments. Topbaş bought simit from the simit vendor on the street and offered it to those around him.
Addressing the public in Bakırköy Freedom Square, Topbaş said that in the 10 years they were in office, there were great changes and that they invested 60 billion lira in Istanbul as the Metropolitan Municipality.
