European Universities Ski Cross Cup: European Universities Ski Cross Cup races will be held in Çankırı
It was reported that the "European Universities Ski Running Cup" races organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TUSF) and the European University Sports Association will be held in Çankırı.
Çankırı Ski Coaches Association Asst. Assoc. Dr. In his statement to the correspondent AA, İmdat Half said that the European Universities Ski Running Cup races will be held at the Ilgaz Ski Center between February 10-13.
That gives prestige to the country an important international races held in Turkey representing half, he said:
“These competitions are important for the promotion of ski resorts. Preparations for the races have been completed. The races will be held in our city for 4 days. I wish success to all athletes in the competitions, where approximately 8 athletes from 150 countries will participate. We invite all our people to the races. European Universities Ski Running Cup competitions, in which the highest participation will be achieved in skiing in our country, took its place in the calendar of the association. We expect an interest in this competition, which is one of the most important organizations in the name of winter sports in our country. Our Governor, Çankırı Vahdettin Özcan, also attaches importance to this competition. I thank the authorities who supported us.
