There are 320 historical documents, tools and equipment in Erzurum Station Museum, which is Turkey's second railway museum.

Yunus Yeşilyurt, TCDD Erzurum Operations Manager, said that there are 150 years of artifacts in the Gar Museum and that citizens who want to can visit it free of charge. Yeşilyurt said, “Our Gar Erzurum Museum was established in 2000 and has 150 years of artifacts. The museum, established under the Directorate, has 320 historical documents, tools and equipment. In the museum, photographs from the ceremony held due to the first train arrival in Erzurum in 1939, a big bell ringing for the passengers to get on the train, instruments used by the railway workers of the time, gas lamps, walrus instrument, magneto telephones, and the medal pressed due to the opening of the Erzurum Station, on the trains again in those years. Medicines for the treatment of sick passengers are also included. The vehicles exhibited in the museum are considered as historical documents and antiques. Our station museum is flooded with visitors. Our station museum is free and our citizens can come and visit. ” he spoke.
