"It is easy to reach both the airport and the train station at a distance." He said that those living in Bolu had to travel 200 km to Ankara and 250 km to Istanbul to reach the airport or train station.
Mentioning the importance of Bolu in terms of country tourism at the meeting, Mayor İnegöl said, “Internationally known tourism centers such as Kartalkaya, Abant and Gölcük, thermal facilities that are present and being built, Tokad-ı Hayrettin, Akşemsettin Hz Şeyh-ül İmran, Fahrettin Rumi, Abdurrahim It should be taken into consideration that it has a potential in many issues such as belief tourism, winter tourism, highland tourism, being a student city with the presence of Abant Izzet Baysal University, and the high possibility of benefiting from our Western Black Sea provinces, ”he said.
ENVIRONMENTAL MEASURES MUST BE TAKEN
İnegöl added that between 133th and 170th km from Ankara, there is a 43 km train line within the borders of Mudurnu district, and that the line between 140th km and 146th km is 7-10 km from Mudurnu district center.
Drawing attention to environmental factors in case of establishing a station in Mudurnu for the high-speed train line, Mayor Mehmet İnegöl said, “Our neighborhood, which is located in the transition area 7 km from our district, is engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry (chicken coops and cattle). Environmental precautions should also be taken by constructing embankments, soundproof steel panels suitable for the nature that will not distort the image, natural overpasses to prevent the east and west connection of wild animals in nature, ”he said.
