Kırıkkale Governor Kolat Visited YHT Construction Site: Kırıkkale Governor Ali Kolat visited the High Speed Train (YHT) construction site located in İzzettin village of Balıseyh district and received information from Project Manager Şükrü Fırat.
Fırat said in a statement he made here that the project works to be carried out until Ankara-Kayaş, Kırıkkale exit and Etiler Mahallesi are at the tender stage.
He noted that the works of their own companies started from Etiler Mahallesi and covered a length of 79.625 kilometers up to the town of Yerköy in Yozgat.
Stating that the project started on 21 January 2013, Fırat said:
“The project cost is 398 million 437 thousand 163 TL. 13 million 500 thousand cubic meters of excavation and 7 million 600 thousand cubic meters of filling will be made at the project site. There are 7 tunnels, 6 viaducts, 6 bridges, 12 overpasses, 49 underpasses and 131 culverts in the project area. 458 personnel will be employed within the scope of the project, depending on the construction site. Studies continue with 135 vehicles. The physical realizations planned in the project work were done. The main purpose of the project is to modernize the historical Silk Road with the High Speed Train Project and reopen it. The work of this project between Yozgat-Yerköy and Sivas continues intensively. Kırıkkale High Speed Train Project is continuing as planned.
Governor Kolat examining the ongoing tunnel in the village of Isiklar Colat, said in a statement here, 864 meter length of the tunnel is performed at the rate of 45 percent of the physical structure, said:
“Today, we watched the work on high speed trains on site. We saw the work of the relevant firm. It's going really fast. And now the project starts here in Etiler District in Kırıkkale. An intensive work that continues up to 79 kilometers from Yerköy. There are tunnels and bridges within the scope of the project. It continues quite rapidly. I wish success to the relevant firm and the subcontractor. High Speed Train is an extremely important and perfect project for the future of our country. I am very pleased that these studies are continuing rapidly in our region. We will also follow and watch the studies from time to time; We will provide necessary support about developments and problems.
