Turkey Railway Machines Industry Inc. (TÜDEMSAŞ), will produce Reysaş Transportation and Logistics Inc. 60 boxcar.
According to the written statement made by TÜDEMSAŞ, an agreement was signed between Tüdemsaş and Reysaş, which has been bringing freight wagons of various types and tonnages to the railway sector since 1939, for the manufacture of 60 freight wagons. Tüdemsaş will deliver the Sgss type 60 freight wagon used in container transportation by the end of 2013.
Tüdemsaş General Manager Yıldıray Koçarslan stated that the Sgss type container freight wagon project belongs to his institutions and that it has been manufactured in accordance with UIC standards since 2005 and said, “These wagons will be manufactured with wooden flooring, pole, and frontal cover. Due to these features, our wagons will allow both container transportation and the transportation of materials such as pipes, billets and bars. The tare of our Sgss wagon, which can speed up to 120 km, is 24 tons. "Our wagons have an automatic compressed air brake system that can adjust the brake system according to the load."
