Providing information about the works, Apaydın said: “In this part, which is the 2nd stage of the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train project, a visit was made to see the constructions especially between Sapanca-Izmit on site and we examine the works closely. Ninety percent of our infrastructure works have been completed and our balanced and catheter poles have been erected as superstructures. During our meeting with our mayor, we reviewed the arrangements planned to be made in the region. We evaluated the findings regarding the infrastructure needed. We have discussed all the details regarding this issue regarding the elimination of negative impacts related to a number of transportation to the environment. Hopefully, as of August, the heavy part of the work will end in this region. We want a little more patience from our citizens. ”

On the other hand, Mayor Şükrü Karabalık, who closely follows the works of the project in the Kartepe crossing within the scope of Sapanca Izmit, makes a separate effort especially to eliminate the disturbances of the district people. Karabalık, who had bilateral meetings with TCDD officials to avoid the discomfort of Kartepe people during the MDS studies, went to Istanbul last week.
