TCDD HAS NOT STOP THE CONSTRUCTION OF ANY SUBGIDER BUILDED BY IZMIR METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY.

İZBAN-Karşıyaka- News about the underpass constructions in the menemen section. Based on the statements of the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Aziz Kocaoglu, the following statement was deemed necessary.
In accordance with the protocol, which is the legal basis of the project, the road infrastructure, signalization and electrification works are carried out by our organization and the overpass and overpass construction is carried out by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.
2-In this context Karşıyaka- Underpass and overpasses on the route will be constructed by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality within the framework of the same protocol.
During the construction of the 3-Road, the existing line was closed to traffic in order to make the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality lower and overpasses.
4-Traffic closing time has been exceeded during 2 years, and the line has been closed to 4 year for the municipality to complete the job.
5- During this period, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality did not make over and underpasses.
After the 6-Line was opened to traffic, the project of the 5 subway was prepared by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and sent to our organization for approval.
7-The projects are approved by our Agency provided that the necessary security measures are taken and construction is carried out in accordance with the rules of art and science.
8-However, collapses have occurred since the necessary measures have not been taken in the underpasses which have been procured and two of them have begun construction.
9-Izmir Metropolitan Municipality requested to secure the construction conditions related to the subject.
10- İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has not fulfilled these demands and the construction of underpasses has been stopped.
The 11 delay is entirely due to this process and the delay has nothing to do with TCDD. TCDD has not stopped the underpass construction.
