Construction of the Haliç Metro Bridge Project
The Golden Horn Metro Bridge project has come to an end. The first voyage on the bridge, where the rough construction will be completed at the end of May, will be on 29 October.
The work on the Haliç Metro Bridge project continues at full speed. The project, in which 400 workers work day and night, is planned to be completed by the end of May. On October 29, the first flights of the metro line from Şişhane to Yenikapı will be made.
The bridge from Şişhane Azapkapı extends from Karaköy Perşembe Pazarı to the Golden Horn. A station will also be built on the Golden Horn Metro Bridge, which has a total length of 936 meters on the sea. Passengers will get off and board at this 180-meter-long station.
One leg of the Haliç Metro Bridge, the construction of which started in 2009, will be opened and closed for ship crossings.
