According to the information obtained, PKK members detonated the explosive they placed on the railway in the region between Keçikayası and Çaybağı villages of Saray district during the passage of the freight train from Van to Kapıköy Border Gate. 4 wagons derailed with the explosion were damaged. During the arrival of the security forces, who were dispatched to the region after the attack, another explosive device was detonated by members of the same organization.
According to the first information during the attacks, including soldiers 4 people were injured. The operation was initiated by security forces in the region.
HEAVY INJURED SOLDIER BRINGS TO VAN
A soldier, who was seriously injured in the attack of PKK members on a freight train and military vehicle in the Saray district of Van, was brought to Van.
According to the information obtained, after the explosive placed on the railway by PKK members detonated, the explosive placed on the road was detonated during the passage of the vehicle carrying the soldiers going to the region. 3 soldiers were injured in the explosion that occurred. A seriously injured soldier was taken to the football field at the Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ) Campus by a military helicopter, and from there to YYÜ Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Dursun Odabaş Training and Research Hospital was taken and treated.
