İZBAN-Metro Transfer will provide great comfort

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality signed a contract for the new highway underpass to Kahramanlar-Akıncılar with Hilal Transfer Station, which will provide great comfort in the transfer of İZBAN-Metro.
Izmir Suburban System, which is the largest public transportation project in the history of the Republic, continues its uninterrupted operations for more than a year on the İZBAN line, while on the other hand, the line continues to be constructed for the new developing needs. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, within this context, the transfer station to Hilal, Kahramanlar Akıncılar highway underpass in April for the construction of the tender by signing the contract and realized the place delivery. Hilal Transfer Station will be built within this scope, and a second transfer station will be provided to İZBAN and Metro passengers. This will shorten the journey time. Thanks to a new commuter transfer station that will be integrated into Hilal Metro Station, the passenger density experienced by the intersection of İZBAN and the Metro at Halkapınar Transfer Station will be greatly reduced.
Hilal Suburban Station will be transferred as Halkapınar after the new arrangement, the passengers coming with the subway from Üçyol direction will not be forced to enter Alsancak in order to transfer to Menderes direction with İZBAN. Passengers arriving in the direction of Menderes will also be able to transfer to the metro by using the Hilal Transfer Station without entering Alsancak. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality's transfer station to Hilal, the rail system will provide significant relief.
On the other hand, within the scope of the Izmir Suburban System, a highway underpass will be constructed at the point where the Kahramanlar-Akincilar level crossing is located before the safety and security of the citizens. Vehicles and citizens sitting in the area will use this subway for crossings. Construction of the two major investments of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will be completed in 300 a day.
