Poland Train Wreck

According to the first determinations, 14 people were killed and 60 injured in the accident that occurred as a result of a collision of two trains in the town of Szczekociny in the south of Poland.

The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who came in for the accident, said it was the biggest railway accident in the country since many years.

The accident occurred last night at 21.00:80 local time. The two trains collided in a head-to-head distance, XNUMX kilometers from the city of Cracow. After the collision, three wagons with two locomotives got off the rails.

60 injured people were taken to hospitals, half of them were reported to be heavy. The Polish Railway Administration announced that there were about 350 people on both trains. Polish authorities have also opened an investigation into the accident.
