The Steering Committee of the Yönlendirme Turkish Railways Reform Project lar 4. The meeting was held at 17 February 2012 Headquarters, under the chairmanship of TCDD Deputy General Director İsmet DUMAN.
Turkey - The European Union (EU) by the European Commission created to ensure our country's financial support to the EU acquis harmonization efforts within the framework of Financial Cooperation "Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA)" mechanism, which is 1.başlıg "Institutional Capacity Development '' under evaluated" Reform of Turkish Railways "project Ecorys Researchand Consulting Ltd. The project started with the technical meeting held on January 13, 2010 and signed on December 10, 2011 with the consortium under his leadership.
The project consists of 3 components. 1. to establish a strategy and action plan that sets out framework requirements to implement railway reform in accordance with the draft legislation package; 2. strengthening the capacity of TCDD for infrastructure allocation and pricing in order to perform the duties of the infrastructure operator including the establishment of infrastructure allocation and remuneration system in the new TCDD and the development of network notification and 3. Within the scope of the new TCDD, activities for strengthening the capacity of railway infrastructure and interoperability are carried out by the development of a Safety Management System for the infrastructure operator and the train operation (s).

During the meeting, the project team leader gave detailed information about the progress made in each component, and the views of the progress of the project were exchanged and important decisions were taken for the next stages.
